About MWA

MWA have been in operation since November 1989. The founder, Michael Wash, developed the consultancy practice by forming a team of consultants who are prepared and able to work out of a common value basis.

I guess you could say I have had an interesting career profile, ranging from psychiatric nurse to nurse teacher and therapist, progressing to quality consultant for BT. I became a Principal Consultant and was then Organisation Development Director for a leading NHS Trust. I then went on to developing leading edge e-learning programmes as part of the suite of consultancy and training offered by MWA. I entered the commercial world by writing a paper linking psychosis to executive decision making and found myself interviewed by several blue chip companies! My passion is people development. I have a great belief and conviction that anyone, given the opportunity, can achieve incredible things. MWA is about creating those opportunities.

Our reputation for providing consultancy and training is built around our approach and business philosophy i.e. managing change effectively in organisations, by helping people develop in a way that achieves improved results for the customer and well being for the organisation.

This approach can be adopted for the whole organisation by embarking upon a "Quality through Leadership" programme, adopting the principles and philosophy of the Learning Organisation and designing change in such a way that creates a unique approach. All our services are tailor made to the client's specification to ensure effective change takes place in the workplace and is consistent with business strategy.
