MWA approach to building e-learning

We deliver to whatever model is required. As far as client platforms go, we’re largely Microsoft based as the specific applications we use to build web e-learning at present are reliant on Macromedia plug-ins, which are only currently widely available on Windows and also MacOS.

As far as the server goes, if it’s a proprietary system like EKP, we can build to that level, or if it’s a web server situation we can work with Microsoft or Unix servers.

Our technical approach is web based e-learning. This means easily deployable, fast and interactive. We base our e-learning largely around Macromedia flash as the vector based approach coupled with the fairly powerful action-script language allows us to deploy object based, streamable e-learning with advanced interactive functionality very quickly. Flash is also able to hook into systems such as EKP as well as SQL/mySQL based systems through PHP or ASP, and XML based systems extremely easily.

This gives us the ability to re-use assets, cut time and costs for our clients and ourselves. Flash is also easily converted to CD-based media, allowing us to do conversions for both environments very easily. If necessary, we can use Macromedia Shockwave as an alternative.

The client is in control

We work closely with you – enabling you to give ongoing feedback as to how the programme is being built through direct access to your own personalised client development site. Our team are multi-skilled in programming and design, all working to a specific project management methodology.
